【政策动向】 美国商务部发布对中国葡萄糖酸钠，葡萄糖酸和衍生物产品的肯定性初步反倾销税裁定 发布时间：2018年07月03日 来源：u.s. department of commerce 点击次数： 次 【打印】 Today, the U.S. Department of Commerce announced the affirmative preliminary determination in the antidumping duty (AD) investigation of imports of sodium gluconate, gluconic acid, and derivative products from China.Commerce determined that exporters from China have been found dumping sodium gluconate, gluconic acid, and derivative products in the United States at margins of 213.15 percent.As a result of today s decision, Commerce will instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection to collect cash deposits from importers of sodium gluconate, gluconic acid, and derivative products from China based on these preliminary rates.In 2017, imports of sodium gluconate, gluconic acid, and derivative products from China were valued at an estimated $6.2 million.The petitioner is PMP Fermentation Products, Inc. (Peoria, IL).The strict enforcement of U.S. trade law is a primary focus of the Trump Administration. Since the beginning of the current Administration, Commerce has initiated 118 new AD and CVD investigations this is 30 percent more than the 91 initiations in the last 529 days of the previous administration.Antidumping duty laws provide American businesses and workers with an internationally accepted mechanism to seek relief from the harmful effects of the unfair pricing of imports into the United States. Commerce currently maintains 448 antidumping and countervailing duty orders which provide relief to American companies and industries impacted by unfair trade.Commerce is scheduled to announce the final determination on or about September 18, 2018.If Commerce s final determination is affirmative, the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) will be scheduled to make its final injury determination on November 1, 2018. If Commerce makes an affirmative final determination of dumping and the ITC makes an affirmative final injury determination, Commerce will issue an AD order.
